Lecture: Black Lives Matter, Beyond the Hashtag

It’s been nearly impossible to avoid the phrase “Black lives matter,” on the news and social media over the past month, but there’s more to the movement than a hashtag. Come join speakers Jason Boyd and Alexis Partee as they dive into Black Lives Matter as a civil rights movement and an activist group.

If you have any symptoms of physical discomfort, please do not attend. We will take all possible measures to maintain a safe environment for public events. Our Lincoln Hall has state-of-the-art air filtration systems, specifically designed to prevent the spread of germs and viruses in the building; strict sanitary measures will be taken at the venue; the number of participants will be limited to 60 people, which is 25% of the capacity of our venue (approximately 200 seats), and the seats will be kept at a distance of 1.5 meters; We encourage attendees to wear masks to participate; hand sanitizer will be provided.

In accordance with new security regulations, any individual who is visiting the U.S. Embassy or Consulates General in China is not permitted to bring a laptop into the Embassy or Consulate General.
